Job Description

Adecco have been engaged exclusively to appoint a key position of DigitalFinancial Controller for a new contract with our national client.The Financial Controller role is a critical position overseeing all financial control, governance and day to day accounting for this account.With both home working and office based in Kingswinford.Job purpose: Through the day to day management of the team, ensure rigorous financial control is applied across the business and provide all relevant stakeholders with accurate, timely and relevant financial information. Ensure appropriate recording and control of allfinancial transactions.Main duties & Responsibilities:Production of timely, relevant and accurate financial reporting.Outlook forecasts produced monthly liaising with senior management and presenting in meetings to the MD and FD.Ensure all key balance sheet ledgers are reconciled on a timely basis each month.Preparation of Group management accounts each monthOversee submission of all statutory reporting requirements / payments (Paye, VAT, etc).Development and motivation of finance team, overseeing and ensuring value added output.Effective and timely reporting of working capital components with specific attention to stock, debtors and cash balances.Provide thorough understanding of profit and loss analysis.Manage the year end audit process, providing all supporting work for external auditors.Provide all supporting work for internal and external tax teamCalculation of commissions on a monthly basisInventory submissionsVAT return - calculation and submission as part of a VAT group.Key Skills & Experience: You must be fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW, either gained within practice or industryExperience of working to tight reporting deadlines (Corporate reporting environment)Good MS Excel Skills (incl. PivotTables)Demonstrable experience of being involved in the production of the management accounts and relevant management information reports for the businessStrong planning, organising, and time management skillsThe successful candidate will be someone who can work independently, who is able to jump into the roleAbility to work in fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritise competing demandsAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
