Job Description

Design / Technical Manager required. Our client is a multi-national manufacturer of valves & fluid control equipment based in the Kingswinford area. They are seeking a Design / Technical Manager to join the team, and take responsibility for the management and coordination of the Design team, on new product developments.Design / Technical Manager Position Overview

  • Identifying, validating and researching new innovate products that meet customers specifications
  • Managing and coordinating the development team on competitive new product concepts and prototypes
  • Planning new product development projects
  • Managing budgets with the Design and Development department
  • Attending tradeshows and design meetings
Design / Technical Manager Position Requirements
  • Proficient with 3D modelling software, ideally Inventor but other software experience will be considered.
  • Extensive experience within product development and technical engineering
  • Experience with valves or fluid control products is advantageous
  • Based in a commutable distance of Kingswinford
  • Degree qualified within a Mechanical, Physics or Design related field
  • Willingness to undergo training courses
Design / Technical Manager Position Remuneration
  • Salary £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
  • Company Car or Allowance
  • Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
  • Life assurance
  • Company pension (5% contribution)
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
