Job Description

Domus Recruitment are working closely with our client who are looking for a HR Advisor, to be based out of their Southeast Regional Office in Ashford, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to progress their early career in HR with areputable Social Care organisation.Our client is a provider of specialist social care services, supporting over 5000 adults with a range of needs in more than 300 properties across the UK. Experience with a Social Care provider is desirable, although not essential.Key Responsibilities of a HR Advisor:

  • Provide advice, guidance, and interpretation of conditions of service and policies for all managers and staff promoting the consistent application of HR policies, practices and procedures across the organisation. This will include supporting HR BusinessPartners with case work.
  • Produce management information reports and data to ensure that managers are aware of actions that need to be taken to monitor compliance with organisation policies to support the delivery of an effective HR service for the organisation. This will includeannual pay reviews and exit interviews.
  • Assist HR Business Partners with the management of sickness absence cases, liaising with relevant Occupational Health support to achieve the swift resolution of individual cases.
  • Assist with the production and distribution of disciplinary, grievance, probationary and performance management cases. This will include attendance at management meetings to support and take accurate minutes of meetings.
  • Actively participate in the delivery of the HR Strategy, including the development and completion of individual and departmental objectives.
Requirements:
  • CIPD Level 5 or willingness to work towards within 2 years.
  • Five GCSE’s including passes in English & Maths.
  • Degree in relevant subject area.
  • Experience of employment legislation and best practice.
  • Experience of working in a Human Resources Department ideally in a similar level role.
  • Knowledge and experience of using HR databases to analyse data and trends.
  • Experience working in a unionised environment.
