Job Description

COMMUNITY NURSE – Community Forensic TeamAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Birmingham Community Forensic Team permanently.Our multi-disciplinary team works with individuals who have a learning disability and have committed a serious criminal offence or are at significant risk of doing so.

  • You will be an experienced Nurse with significant post registration experience within Learning Disabilities.
  • You will hold a registration in Learning Disability Nursing / Mental Health Nursing.
  • The post holder will have forensic clinical experience as well as knowledge and experience of conducting forensic risk assessments and developing and implementing risk reduction interventions.
  • The post holder will be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have a passion for person-centred care and integrated team working.
  • You will be supported and supervised by a senior Community Forensic Nurse within the team.
