Job Description

Do you have an in-depth knowledge of current data protection legislationHas this experience been gained in a financial services regulated environmentOur client a unique third sector financial services organisation are looking for a Data and GDPR Officer (1LOD) to join their Banking Operations division and play a key role in fostering a data protection culture within the organisation.Reporting to the Business Operations and Assurance Team (BOAT) Manager and working closely wit 2LOD colleagues you will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation continues to meet its GDPR requirements with focus on both BAU activities and futurestrategic transformation implementations and process changes.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the organisation continues to meet its GDPR requirements and forging business policies and standard operating procedures
  • Recognising, investigating and reporting data breaches and incidents
  • Lead on providing the MI and analysis of incidents and events, including incident reporting
  • Data protection training to 1LOD
In this specialist technical role the successful candidate will have:
  • In-depth knowledge of current data protection legislation and relevant technical knowledge of GDPR, data security and data regulation
  • A track record of implementing efficient best practice data processes
  • Be able to analyse and interpret information into concise user-friendly content.
Based from the client headquarters in Kings Hill our client offer hybrid working, however you may be required to travel to the London office.
