Job Description

Ivy Rock Partners is thrilled to be working with an outstanding University to recruit a Financial Accountant into their team. The post-holder will play a key role, alongside another Financial Accountant, in supporting the Assistant Director of Finance.This is a hybrid role, looking for someone to come in to the office 3 days a week and they offer flexible working hours.This role would be perfect for someone straight out of audit or a fully qualified accountant who is ambitious, looking to develop their technical skills.Role responsibilities:

Preparing annual accounts
Responsible for the completion of monthly reconciliations, including key control accounts
Assist in the development and ongoing provision of monthly balance sheet reporting
Continuously review processes in which they are involved in and suggest and implement agreed changes
Liaising with external auditors
Planning for, and delivering annual statutory accounts ad corporation tax returns

You will be:

A fully qualified accountant
Able to build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders
Experienced in year-end analysis and providing supporting documentation for internal and external auditors
Experienced in managing Fixed Assets
Experienced in managing month-end processes and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Able to communicate clearly
Familiar with Finance IT systems
