Job Description

Role: Chief Financial OfficerSalary: £120,000 to £140,000 + Bonus & EquityLocation: Remote Working/HybridAre you an experienced financial leader with a passion for the fintech industry Are you seeking an exciting opportunity to drive the financial strategy and growth of a dynamic, PE-backed businessOur client, a promising business backed by a lower mid market private equity firm, are seeking a strategic and results-driven CFO to join their executive team. This pivotal role will provide financial leadership and guidance during a critical phase of expansionand development. If you are passionate about driving growth and shaping the financial trajectory of a PE-backed business, this is the perfect opportunity for you.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the financial strategy of the company, aligning it with the overall business objectives and growth plans.
  • Oversee all financial aspects of the business, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, to support decision-making and drive sustainable growth.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with private equity partners, investors, and lenders, ensuring effective communication and reporting on financial performance.
  • Lead the fundraising efforts, including managing relationships with existing investors and attracting new investment to fuel growth.
  • Implement robust financial controls, systems, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize financial operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team, providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.
This role would suit:
  • A Qualified CFO/Finance Director whom is ACA, ACCA or CIMA with a strong academic background
  • Proven experience as a CFO/Finance Director, within a private equity or venture capital backed environment, with a strong understanding of financial operations and strategy.
  • Demonstrated success in working withinFinTechsector.
  • Strategic mindset and ability to analyse complex financial data, identify trends, and make sound recommendations to support business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
