Job Description

Are you a newly qualified accountant or nearing the end of your studiesYouve spent a few years at your current practice but want a change with the chance to make a difference.We are working with an exciting business consultants, based in Kidderminster, with high growth plans who are investing for a long term future.They are definitely not your traditional, stuffy practice but pride themselves on partnering with their growing local client base.The CompanyA relatively young firm, they have grown consistently over the last three years and have expanded the team accordingly. With a managing director who is leading the business forward but still wants it to be a fun place to work.They have a solid local client base, who share the same values as this business. You will be a piece of the jigsaw, not just a number. They promote and are active in their charity work giving back to the local community.The RoleThis accountant role with be key in the business and they are looking for someone with 3-5 years accountancy practice experience, who can hit the ground running.

  • Lead on accounts preparation for varied client base
  • Preparation of corporation tax and personal/director tax submissions
  • Provide accountancy services and advice to clients and be a valued point of contact
  • Manage workload to ensure deadlines and client needs are met
  • Work well with the rest of the team, fostering great team spirit and sharing knowledge and experience
  • Contribute to the growth of the business
  • Expectation to engage in CPD, with time allowed each week for your development
The PersonYou will be ACA or ACCA qualified or nearing the end of your studies. Full study support will be provided to help progress towards your qualification, if required. Ideally, you should have 5 years plus accountancy practice experience.Be well presented with excellent organisational skills, IT skills and good client interaction skills. Have high levels of attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and meet your deadlines.There will be limited need for business development within the role leaving you to concentrate on delivery of a great service.The Package
  • £30-40k dependant on experience

  • 35 hour week, 14:30 early finish on a Friday
