Job Description

PermanentMonday to Friday - 37.5hrs pw£30,000paKilworth (LE8) based - hybrid (1 day at home)Our friendly and fast-growing client based in Kibworth is looking for a Accounts Senior to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records.The key responsibilities:

Using Sage 50 accounts and Excel
Overseeing financial and banking transactions
Calculating and preparing VAT returns
Running fixed asset register, accounts payable & receivable and reconciling balance sheets & P&L
Assisting with audits and budget preparation

The ideal candidate:

Good working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts and MS Excel
Minimum AAT qualified, part or fully ACCA qualified or CIMA/equivalent
Demonstratable accounting/bookkeeping experience, ideally within an SME
Great communication skills and confidence speaking to senior management
Excelling planning and organisational skills
