Job Description

Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Staff Nurse to work in Kent on Wards.The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.The salary for this permanent Nurse job is £26,000 per annum (Assignment rate)Main Duties:

  • Undertake risk assessments when required, and ensure a safe working environment for patients, visitors, other staff and self
  • Work within a team, supervising and directing junior staff and deputising for Senior Staff as required
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care
  • In conjunction with the Ward Sister, participate in the management of the day to day revenue recapture and cost controls, and ensure best use of resources.
Requirements of the Nurse:
  • RGN qualified
  • Active NMC Registration
  • Post-registration clinical experience in the relevant specialty
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and its application
  • Evidence of continuous professional development and its application
  • Proven ability to diffuse and solve challenging incidents.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • Medicine, surgery, orthopaedic or cardiac experience an advantage
  • Mentorship training and qualification
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current nursing and clinical developments
