Senior ICT Infrastructure Specialist£34,273 - £39,147Kent based / European Travel requiredReporting to: ICT Infrastructure ManagerOur International client is seeking an experienced ICT infrastructure specialist who is highly experienced within this sector. You would be expected to Work on projects to develop & improve the centrally installed Infrastructure of FSE/PAGO within Europe, while ensuring maximum (cost and uptime) effectiveness and efficiency, operating on different platforms in the area of Middleware, Operating-, Standard-, Universal- and communication Software and the hardware platforms the software is running on. This role will involve moderate travel within Europe .Duties of the role : Support the design, development and implementation of projects related to the ICT infrastructure while adhering to the ICT architecture standards, including storage, server, networking and client related projectsSupport the operation and maintenance of the ICT systems to attain stable, reliable and uninterrupted operation by delivering high quality documentation, second line support, active change management and upgrade planning, taking into account technological developments and changing needsSupport the development of the ICT department by using, maintaining and improving the internal processes and services, taking into account internal and external best practicesSecure alignment with business and ICT stakeholders by active network monitoring and reporting on targets and benchmarks for the defined KPIs, SLAs and performance dataProvide pro-active ICT support by proactively solving IT problems and/or by advising business to structurally resolve problemsPro-active monitoring of the network, storage, etc. to detect (and prevent) issues in advanceCoaching of assistants and specialists in the infrastructure area to enable potential growthCoordinate the implementation of non-standard changes and projects as project member or project managerSupports multiple business units on 5 or more international sites across EuropeDecision taking within approved IT regulations and standardsExperience required : Specialist IT training ideally to at least the level bachelor/industry standard equivalentSeveral years of practical experience in own area of expertise, ideally in a comparable (operating) position.Written and spoken English required.Broad specialist expertise in all matters concerning the hard- and software used.Team player working in an international teamKnowledge of IT InfrastructureKnowledge of IT strategy and conceptsProject ManagementFor further information regarding this role please contact Martine CrippsInterpersonnel are operating as an Employment Agency for our client for this particular role.
