Job Description

This role will be part of the wider Finance team - sitting beneath the Finance Director. The chance to learn and develop within a successfulteam is on offer here, with a great opportunity to work closely with experienced members of staff and also help coach and nurture youngers members of the finance team helping progress peers around you where you will direct line manager 2 competent membersof staff.The main duties for this Senior Finance Business Partner are:

  • Ensuring the monthly management accounts are produced alongside monthly forecasting, budgeting, accruals, prepayments and any journal adjustments.
  • Attending monthly meetings with crucial business services and key stakeholders where monthly accounts and any variances will be discussed and delved into with a mindset of pushing the organisation forward and challenging decisions with an open mind.
  • Having the ability to hit the ground running and add value to the team immediately.
  • Supporting the completion of the year-end financial accounts. Accounts to then be presented to the Senior Finance Managers.
The role will be based in Kent with office attendance required three times a week for key team meetings and stakeholder engagement.   • A Qualified Accountant, or hold part qualification status/QBE with a wealth of experience.
  • Experienced in financial budgeting, monitoring, dealing with stakeholders and senior management, accruals and prepayments and assisting with month end and year end.
  • Able to act well under pressure with great communication skills having the ability to engage with various stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
  • Comfortable with Excel – having the ability to produce pivot tables and Vlookups and discuss findings to key stakeholders and the senior management team.
