Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a Principal Formulation Scientist / Team Manager at a large Drug Discovery company in Kent. The Principal Formulation Scientist role is ideal opportunity for a Senior Scientist ready to step-up and manage a team or an experience Team Manger capable of scaling up a department. You would have overall technical responsibility for a team including formulation and pre-formulation. Leading client projects that generate revenue for the site.Key Responsibilities will include:-

  • Overseeing projects and providing advice and support to junior team members.
  • Taking a lead on Continuous Improvement for the team.
  • Mentoring and developing the careers of team members.
  • Caring out customer tailors projects, such as a proof-of-concept early formulation.
  • Producing reports and interpreting data for internal and external customers.
  • Providing troubleshooting guidance for methods, instruments and data interpretation.
  • Leading general problem-solving initiatives.
  • Making client visits and presentations throughout a project lifecycle.
  • Maintaining Quality to relevant standards, such as (GLP, cGMP, ISO9001).
  • Ensuring team compaliance with all relevant H&S procedures and regulations.
    • Ideally you will have experience of formulation and/or pre-formulation of early stage drug discovery in a CRO, academic, biotech or pharmaceutical setting.This is a chance to join a rapidly growing company in state of the art facilities.This client is already shortlisting for the role so I would like you to apply immediately with a CV (Word document format), so as to not miss out on the opportunity.
