Job Description

Primary Teacher - MedwayFull-time - MPS/UPS - January 2024 startTradewind Recruitment are sourcing for inspirational Primary Teachers to support schools in the Medway area, for long-term contract positions, as well as ad-hoc daily supply, from January 2024. These are full-time positions but could have scope for a candidateto go permanent depending on circumstance. Applications from experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome!The Role

  • Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in either KS1 or KS2
  • Responsibility for ensuring your cohorts are supported, and challenged appropriately with the work set.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students
  • Taking part in parents evenings and staff meetings and training sessions if required
  • If Daily Supply, marking the work that has been completed by the students for the returning teacher.
Requirements
  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
  • Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum to either KS1 and/or KS2
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
  • Have right to work in the UK
