This popular Garden Centre, established in 1969, has built a reputation for quality innovation and style. The centre has grown considerably over the years and has achieved great success by offering an extensive range of plants throughout the year, with many unusual lines, garden sundries and leisure goods, and an award winning restaurant.The company is currently seeking a Plantarea Supervisor to support the department manager with the running and development of the plant sales department. This is a full-time permanent role and will require weekend working on rotation. The position will suit a strong plants person with a background in a similar setting, looking to take a step up in their career.Key Skills:The successful candidate will possess good plant knowledge and be dedicated to plant retailing in order to maintain high standards and provide a good level of service. Applicants must have previous retail experience and will either have held a supervisory position or feel they are ready to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate must be positive and presentable, outgoing, and enjoy working with the public. Applicants must be physically fit as the position will involve working outside in all weathers, looking after and re-displaying the stock, with some heavy lifting.
