Job Description

Are you a skilled Finance Business Partner looking to add value in a progressive not for profit organisation Looking for a permanent role that will enable you to have a big impact quickly Do you want to join a high-performing team known for adding significantstrategic value to budget holders If yes, this could be your next role!This social housing developer are currently seeking a permanent Finance Business Partner to join their driven and high performing financial palling and analysis team. In this role you will deliver a comprehensive financial support service to a range of non-financialstakeholders withing a specific directorate portfolio, driving financial performance and guiding decision making.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of the 30 year long-term financial plan.
  • Providing strategic support and financial guidance to budget holders from a variety of backgrounds across the organisation.
  • Have key input into the month end close, investigating variance and writing supporting commentaries as required.
  • Providing input on new and existing business cases through robust financial analysis and assurance.
  • Lead on budgeting and forecasting.
  • Dealing with ad-hoc queries and requests from stakeholders.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a genuine Business Partnering role that would allow you to work in a truly agile way, as staff are only expected to work from their Kent based office two days per week.You will need:
  • To be a fully qualified Accountant.
  • Strong experience as a Finance Business Partner, delivering strategic support to budget holders.
  • Brilliant communication and interpersonal skills.
  • To hold prior experience in either the social housing or charity sector.
