Job Description

Data Quality ControllerJob Type: Full-time, Permanent Fully remote positionSalary: £18,000We are looking to fill a new position with our fast-growing client. As the Quality Controller you will be responsible for checking the quality of data used and presented to potential clients. Attention to detail and problem solving will be key in this role.To do well in this role you need to be organized, have excellent communication skills, a good eye for detail, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, an ability to work independently, problem resolve and show initiative. Our client is a fast-paced company, who are ever changing. The successful candidate will be able to adapt with the company as it moves forward into its exciting future.Responsibilities:

  • Providing updates on the quality of data at weeklymeetings
  • Implement changes to the datasystem
  • Work with various members of the company to improve the quality of thedata
  • Aid the Data Scientists with improving the quality of datasets
  • Checking data sets with tests devised by others in thecompany
  • Resolving issues reported with the dataquality
  • Other tasks as the role develops
  • Requirements:
  • Able to effectively problemsolve
  • High level of both written and verbalcommunication
  • Flexible and ability toadapt
  • Excellent attention todetail
  • Able to workautonomously
  • Experience with the validation of raw data and reporting it would be ideal for this role.
  • An understanding of the financial markets would be advantageous.
