Job Description

Part-time roles ( between one - four days a week) (FTE 37.5 hours)Location: Based in one of our communities in London, Kent or Norfolk(frequent travel required)Childhood First have been an Organisational Member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Since April 2015 and we accredit (staff/students) who successfully complete our psychotherapeutic training as Child Psychotherapeutic Counsellors andwhen achieving the MA, Child Psychotherapist.We are recruiting a Course Tutor who will be responsible for delivering the iST programmes to trainees/Students in Kent and Norfolk. This will include Childhood Firsts therapeutic staff (Gables, Greenfield, and Oakwood, Merrywood, and Earthsea) and theiTF Foster Carers/School based staff in the local areas.Part-time posts (between one and four days a week)Benefits include:

Reporting to the Clinical Institute Director/Delegated manager, you will take ownership for local trainee experience both their individual learning needs and to meet the demands of their roles, whilst delivering all the requirements of the Integrated SystemicTherapy programme.Candidates will need to be experienced in delivering training that lead to academic qualifications, and have adequate subject, practice knowledge and experience to be an authentic Course Tutor. Ideally you will have Training/Adult Education qualifications,as well as a higher level qualification in a relevant subject but we are able to consider alternative modes for demonstrating competence.The post-holder will play a full part in clinical development and assessment of IiST trainees/students, and in the facilitation and clinical practice of IiST practitioners.Closing date: 12 noon on Friday, 10 December 2021Interviews : Thursday, 16 December 2021 at Head Office, LondonFor more details about the post and prior to applying, please contact Lace Jackson - Clinical Institute Director.
