CHP/ Power House ManagerC£50,000East KentSa/comMy Client, a Manufacturing company with a worldwide reputation for producing a specialist product for over 50 years, is now looking to recruit an experienced CHP/ Power House Manager to be responsible for the Power House and personnel on site. Operating in a safe environment whilst producing steam generation, and electrical generation. You will maintain and continuously improve on operational site operations and be responsible for Site Energy Management & Environmental issues, including the water treatment plant and Legionella control systems.The Role:CHP/ Power House ManagerTo produce risk assessments, safe systems of work and perform daily checks to ensure safety is of a high standard for all staff, visitors, and contractors.Contribution to safety policy and objectives.Management of CoSSH for the PowerhouseAuditing safety systems and conformance across site.Dealing with any arising emergencies in a calm, controlled manner.Participation in SIT and Safe Systems teamsSkills / Experience / Qualifications:CHP/ Power House ManagerPreferably Engineering Degree qualified -- minimum HNDExperience of CHP operations.BOAS management accreditation.Good communications and presentation skills.Technical Problem-solving abilities.High degree of computer literacy including spreadsheets and CMMS systems.Knowledge of relevant legislation e.g., chemical safety and environmental.Working knowledge of energy management and monitoring systems and current carbon tax legislationDemonstrated ability to write technical reports.5 years experience in a supervisory or management positions.Budgetary knowledge and experienceConnect2Staff/Connect2Kent, part of Commercial Services Trading/Kent Ltd, is an equal opportunities Employment Agency & Business and positively encourages applications from all suitably qualified and eligible candidates.
