Job Description

AUDI GROUP USED CAR BUYER - KENT

  • Salary: On target earnings ranging up to £70,000
  • GROUND BREAKING INDUSTRY 5 DAY WORKING WEEK

    • Responsibilities:
  • To source used vehicles through various methods based upon Audi criteria.
  • To prioritise stores that are low on stock as well as prioritising the fastest selling and most popular cars.
  • To liaise with the Group Used Car Manager and the central Audi team and report results on a daily basis.
  • To seek to acquire trade vehicles through various online trade suppliers not limited to, leasing companies, National Auction Houses, Traders, Franchised groups, Private sellers, manufacturer direct, Motability and other sources.
  • Vehicles to always be purchased at optimum trade price whilst adhering to the Audi pricing strategy and recording sales performance, taking into account vehicles reconditioning, transportation costs and trading conditions.
  • To supply information and organise your day to ensure Audi has priority to gain vehicles before its competitors.
  • To build relationships and source new Trade Suppliers for the benefit of Audi.
  • To carry out value check, financial and HPI checks on all vehicles prior to purchase and once satisfied arranged payment utilising the purchasing process through Head Office following company policy.
    • Applicant requirements:Minimum of 1 year’s previous experience as a manger or trade buyerPrevious motor trade experience is essential.A proven record of finding the right vehicles matching specific requirements from Sales/General Managers and own knowledge.Experience using a variety of methods to trace vehiclesYou must have a full manual driving licence with no more than 6 pointsHours of work:Monday to Friday 8:30am - 6:00pmLocation:KentBenefits:Training & DevelopmentEmployee assistance programmeChristmas ClubCycle to work scheme Required skills
