The Liverpool Women’s Hospital is a stand-alone unit, situated three quarters of a mile from the main acute provider, the Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Trust, including the Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospital; and Liverpool University.It has its own on-site gynaecological emergency room, dealing with approximately 350 attendances and 50 admissions weekly. Gynaecological Subspecialties include Urogynaecology, Gynaecological Oncology and Reproductive Medicine. The University Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the Regional Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics Departments are located on the same site.The successful candidate will play an important role in assisting with the provision of Urogynaecology services including specialised urogynaecology clinics, urodynamics, operating theatres, as well as emergency Gynaecology and some general Gynaecology.
