The last 10 months have been challenging for all businesses however my client focuses in an area that continues to be an essential need for businesses, and are busier than ever. They are now looking to expand their head office team to continue to identify new opportunities, particularly those companies placing contracts for tender.Not only will you receive an excellent salary and benefits, youll also get to work with a passionate, ambitious and supportive organisation.The role is split into 3 distinct areas• To source regional and national tender opportunities in the public and private sectors utilising subscribed platforms. There is the opportunity to identify new platforms where tender opportunities may exist. Ensure interest is registered so they can participate in tender opportunities.• Approach procurement teams of large blue chip companies and public organisations to establish route to tenders so they can be considered when the opportunity arises.• Develop opportunities with existing customers with multiple more sites across the UK. Youll be able to understand relationships with clients/ registered suppliers, and will be able identify and become a registered supplier for those who are not.You will be confident in making calls throughout the day and following up via email and building relationship with sales team so opportunities can be effectively presented for them to make contact with the appropriate person to develop the sales opportunity.You will be required to manage the opportunities on a database and provide a weekly update of results.Qualifications and essential experienceExperience in an outbound sales or similar role would be a distinct advantageThe person my client wants:Professional attitudePositive can-do approachOutstanding telephone skillsExcellent customer service skillsPlanning and organising skillsAbility to prioritise own workloadSelf-motivatedA team player with own responsibilitiesA very good salary plus the opportunity to earn additional commission/bonus is available - dont delay, Required skills
