Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions are currently partnering with a international business based in Kenilworth, that are well reputed for their positive working environment, career progression and flexibility.An opportunity has arisen within their busy finance office for a candidate to join the organisation as a Reporting Manager, overseeing the Statutory & Regulatory reporting team.Role: Statutory & Regulatory Reporting ManagerSalary Banding: £60,000 - £66,000Perks: 10% Bonus Annual Bonus, Healthcare Cover and a very generous pension scheme.Location: Kenilworth (CV8)Hybrid: Yes, 3 Days WFHSupervising a team of 5 direct reports you will have overall responsibility for managing the timely submission of both UK and Overseas legal entity statutory reporting, VAT returns, balance sheet account reconciliations (VAT and Current Tax), monthly intrastatsand other regulatory reporting. Youd also play a key part in adhoc projects & ensuring that processes are efficient, with the aim to enhance reporting where possible.Duties

  • Managing the timely preparation and submission of statutory reporting of around 20 legal entities (Turnover in the billions)
  • Key point of contact between the business and local authorities
  • Manage the relationship with internal tax team
  • Managing the relationship with external auditors
  • Managing VAT returns including: monthly, quarterly & 4 bi-monthly whilst also overseeing the preparation of paperwork for payment
  • Managing the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations;
  • Managing intrastrats reporting and other regulatory reporting
  • Drive efficiency and process/quality improvements within the team
  • Involvement in other adhoc projects as and when required
Experience
  • Essential to have a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) and IFRS experience.
  • Experience of continuous improvement to processes
  • Excellent customer focused skills
  • Technical understanding of local GAAP vs US GAAP
  • Developing team knowledge to ensure they have required knowledge to succeed.
