Job Description

As this incredible companys PR & Events Executive, you will be responsible for maximising positive awareness and engagement for the organisation in both the media and at external events. You will be instrumental in helping position us as a leading companywho service national customers. This PR and Events focused role requires an autonomous writer who can work exceptionally well with the media!The company culture are incredibly friendly and offer flexible hybrid working!PR responsibilities

  • Support with development of PR strategy & deliver resulting Media Activity Plan
  • Identify key trade publications, build and maintain media lists and establish relationships with editors and journalists
  • Social media
  • Identify key industry bloggers and influencers and build relationships
  • Establish and maintain a breadth of media contacts and a black book’ of print and broadcast journalists, positioning the company as the go to’ spokesperson for comment on our sector
  • Build relationships with peers in relevant external partner PR/Event teams
  • Create high-quality media materials, including media releases, media briefings and op-eds (opinion pieces)
  • Create engaging written content in the form of feature articles, case studies and advertorials to feature in trade media and the website
  • Support with the writing of thought leadership content for key industry contacts, Executive team, and Board members
  • Establish measures and report on content coverage and engagement
Events responsibilities
  • Manage all interaction with event organisers including space & equipment booking, invoicing, insurance, risk assessment & all other administration
  • Create engaging display proposals including stand design, stand format and supporting interactive’ content.
  • Identify opportunities to maximise company profile at events through sponsorship packages, round tables, speaker slots, panels, hosted receptions etc. and support with delivery
  • Organise and attend promotional events such as press briefings, open days, stakeholder events
  • Support in development and delivery of Lantra brand building event activity such as Awards ceremonies, webinars.

Package for the role
  • Salary 27,000 to 30,000 depending on experience
