Merchandising ManagerChester - £28,000 per annumYou will be joining a company that prides themselves on working with clients who always demonstrate their creativity across all of their products. The company is very much a family and everyone shares ideas and celebrates successes together.My client is now looking for somebody to come in and support the business building a merchandising approach which best managers the niche product. You need to have a proven track record in a similar role and have an excellent eye for detail, some of the responsibilities will include the below:• Proposing / planning product ranges in line with niche independent designers• Developing systems and procedures for sales and stock plans in conjunction with buying specialist brands• Identification of the optimum selling strategies and outlets for stock• using specialist computer software, for example to handle sales statistics, produce sales projections and present spreadsheets and graphs where appropriate• Support on planning budgets and presenting sales forecasts and figures for designer sales• Analysing every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colours or styles) and ensuring that each item / designer reaches their full potential• Monitoring all sales and taking action to support the development of marketing (digital and print) / communications / plans and business strategies• Making financial presentations to senior managers based on forecasts and actuals• Supporting on and all stock processes from the delivery of goods to the processing of goods ready for on line sales and distributionCustomer Service

Developing and adapting customer service strategy and processes for OM

Handling customer enquiries and communications including advice and guidance for customers.

Supporting customers through the buying process on line / face to face / telephone

Meet personal/team sales targets

Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution

Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents

Direct and follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
