Job Description

An extremely well-known and long-standing business based in Keighley are currently looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their well-established team.Working in a team of 5 and reporting into the FC, you will form strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and take ownership of the full purchase ledger process as well as assisting the wider finance team.Duties include:

  • Updating the cashbook with bank transactions
  • Printing invoices, batching and coding
  • Reconciling bank statements
  • Updating cashflow forecast
  • Reconciling PL payments onto system
  • Completing monthly payment run
  • Reconciling bank statements to trial balance
  • Updating spreadsheets on Excel
  • Working closely with wider finance team, FC and FD
The Person:
  • Experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk with over 5 years experience in this area looking after the full process.
  • A team player, happy to get stuck in and help out with other areas of finance.
  • Strong communicator with excellent people skills.
Benefits:
  • Salary on offer will pay in the region of £28,000 with an excellent pension contribution on offer.
