Job Description

JHE & Partners are delighted to be working exclusivelywith a local Keighley business who are looking for a Customer Service Manager ona permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity overseeing a team of 5 reporting into the Operations Director. Thisis an excellent, diverse role working with an array of internal stakeholders.Responsibilities include

  • To have overall responsibility for all aspects of the UK customer service.
  • To be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement within business processes the team and reporting KPIs, setting departmental objectives.
  • Working with customers to understand new ways of order placement (Web- based/Portals/e-procurement) and adapting our processes and systems to suit.
  • Identifying solutions for order processing within sage and improvements within CRM.
  • Work within the companys management team to ensure compliance to the Quality Management System (ISO13485) including product post-market Surveillance.
  • Work with the Key Accounts Coordinator to identify opportunities to provide additional admin support to the external reps within the team.
  • Work with Sales managers to ensure up-selling of weekly offers and identify cross selling opportunities
  • Managing all HR aspects (including holidays, appraisals, recruitment, training and development of the team)
  • Investigate/resolve customer problems
  • Ensuring total work load of the department is managed daily by the team
  • Sales Order processing and dealing with customer enquiries as required
Candidate profile
  • Commercially minded with 3 plus years experience in team leadership, focusing on achieving the best customer experience.
  • Have a working knowledge of internet sales and payments.
  • Be highly organised and able to manage the department workload. Delegation is key to synchronise activities.
  • Have a strong work ethic and will be driven to achieve results, alongside good communication and IT skills.
  • Have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent, friendly communicator, have the ability to work both individually and as part of a wider management team to build strong working relationships/connections. Overall, the ability to work proactively and independently.
  • Be effective working under pressure.
  • Working knowledge of business systems; Sage 200 would be advantageous.
Salary on offer will pay up to £30,000 with good benefits including competitive pension, 23 days holiday rising to 25 with service, free parking and annual summer BBQs.
