Job Description

Training & Wellbeing CoordinatorBoltonThis is a new role which is being introduced at our depots to provide dedicated training and support to our new drivers while also coordinating ongoing training, coaching and support for everyone at the depot.As a Training and Wellbeing coordinator you will be provided with a small vehicle so they can go to customer sites, meet drivers etc but they will sit alongside colleagues, in the colleagues vehicle, when training.We want the training and Wellbeing Co-Ordinator to be the go to person for day to day support and advice, working closely with the OCM and Service Manager to ensure colleagues are supported and able to do their job well.Key responsibilities are: Assess the driving capability and overall suitability of applicants for the role of service drivers (of all service lines) as part of the recruitment process Take responsibility for training from day 1 to completion of probation With the OCM and Service Manager, provide support and coaching to ensure that all new service drivers are competent and confident to carry out their role and also to ensure that they feel part of the team. With the OCM, and Service Manager, ensure that all colleagues are supported and able to do their job Ensure all refresher training required is completed. Train new drivers at other Operation Centres, if required.In return for your commitment and expertise, you will get: A salary of£22,500 per annum + Bonus. 23 days annual holiday & Bank holidays plus holiday buy/sell scheme after 6 months. Phs perks with potential savings of £1,000 a year. 24 hr wellbeing helpline Vehicle, band 2 (Corsa or equivalent) Formal training will be provided to obtain the following qualifications: Train the Trainer Driving Assessor ADR license Forklift license First Aid Mental Health AwarenessEssential requirement

  • Full UK manual Driving License for a minimum of 12 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points.
  • The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of an enhanced DBS check.
  • Due to the nature of waste we handle and the customers we service, itsmandatorydrivers are to have vaccinations against Hepatitis B, tetanus/polio and COVID 19- Employee vaccinations are paid for by phs.
