Job Description

Reed HR are proud to be recruiting for a HR officer on behalf of a large public sector body based in Carmarthen. This will be a fixed contract until July 2024 and is the perfect opportunity to join a large and collaborative HR team.What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop, review, implement and promote Human Resources objectives and strategies to enhance the performance of the HR Department.
  • Ensure that HR procedures and guidance documents are clear, streamlined and legally compliant by reviewing, updating and drafting them as needed.
  • Support the organisations Strategic Equality Plan by coordinating its actions and providing advice to all staff and line managers on inclusion matters.
  • Participate in recruitment and selection activities and any other reasonable requirements to contribute to the Department’s wider objectives.
What you’ll need:
  • CIPD level 5 qualified, or working towards
  • Conversant with current employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Experience of working in an operational HR environment
  • Knowledge and experiences implementing EDI polices would be advantageous.
