Job Title: NIGHTS Transport ManagerCompanyA prestigious freight transport company located in Iver, specialising in air cargo and UK nationwide distribution with operations extending into Europe. Committed to delivering excellence in logistics services, ensuring efficient and reliable transportationof cargo.Position OverviewSeeking a proficient and experienced NIGHTS Transport Manager to oversee the night shift operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of transport activities during night shifts, ensuring smooth operations, adherence toregulations, and exceptional service delivery.Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage night shift transport operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution of deliveries.
Supervise a team of drivers and transport staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues and improve overall operational effectiveness.
Maintain accurate records of transport activities, including shipments, deliveries, and driver logs.
Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Transport Administration will be required and monitoring of Vehicles.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar managerial role within the transport or logistics industry.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of transport regulations, procedures, and best practices.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Availability to work night shifts, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 pm to 7:30 am.
CO (Certificate of Competence), DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, and a 5-year checkable history are required.

Salary and Benefits

Competitive salary circa £55,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
