Job Description

Calling all graduates, teaching assistants and HLTAs!Are you a looking to kick start or progress your career in education Do you have the aspiration to become a fully qualified primary teacherOne of my fantastic primary schools are looking are looking for talented individuals to join their team from September! The school is situated in the beautiful village of Iver and caters for primary aged pupils. ]The school are looking for motivated individuals who can help drive their journey forward. They are committed to the welfare and well being of their staff, once at the school you will receive fantastic development opportunities for your career.This school regularly puts its teaching assistants into teacher training, and now needs four new staff to replace those who are now going on to train- CPD and career progression is a priority here and thus their staff retention and satisfactionis excellent.After a successful academic year at the school, you will then have the option to partake in the schools teacher training programme! As a trainee at the school, you will be provided with a personalised training programme that will enable you to develop yourknowledge and understanding of how to teach and how to enhance your classroom practice. Thereafter, this will lead to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) being awarded, with the possibility of attaining the PGCE as an additional academic qualification.The position starts in September will be Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30 with a pro-rata salary of £14,625.They can offer:

The ideal candidate will:
  • A strong degree (ideally at least 2:1), solid A-Level and GCSE grades
  • Be a quick and proactive learner who is keen to up-skill
  • Be interested in a long term school career
  • Hold English and Maths to GCSE level
