Job Description

Job Title: Suspended Access / Lifting Equipment Engineer (Home-based)Location: South East (Covering across the M4 Corridor) Job Sector: Suspended Access Equipment & Lifting EquipmentSalary: Up to £35,000 DOE, Overtime (Time ½ and Double Time Rates available), Van (Personal Usage), Company Pension and 28 Days HolidayAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an engineer to join a market leading, growing specialist services business. Working for the Access and Security division, you shall be based from home going out to customer sites across the South East of the UK. Flexibility around travelling is required.You shall be responsible for all service, repair and maintenance on a variety of lifting equipment and suspended access equipment. Holding a LEEA qualification would be a great advantage. In return you shall receive a competitive salary, plenty of overtime and the opportunity to progress and work your way up within a highly profitable, well-structured organisation.Responsibilities of the Role:• Carry out service, repair and maintenance on lifting equipment such as wire ropes, hoists, winches and runaway beams, fall protection systems, suspended access, cradle systems and gantries• Diagnose faults on electrical and mechanical systemsRequirements of Role:• Previous experience working on lifting equipment or suspended access equipment is essential• A good understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering is essential• Holding a LEEA qualification would be a great advantage• Full UK Driving Licence - flexibility to travel as and where required• Must be confident working at heightIf you are an engineer who fits the above requirements and would like to find out more about this opportunity please speak to Sarah Hamill-Moss - -
