We are looking for a Maintenance Joiner to work as a Modular Cabin Fitter and assist in the repair and preparation of a range of cabins prior to going on hire.Reporting to the Fitting Team Leader, you will work Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm for the UK’s market leading provider of temporary and semi-permanent modular accommodation, at their Iver depot close to the M25, west of London.Main Responsibilities:-General maintenance using powered hand tools-Driving a B1 Forklift, Power Pallet Truck or Low Loader Picker-Repair & fitting external locks & key cutting-Exterior door fitting-Repair and replace wall and ceiling boards-Fit Partitions & final trims-Remove & fit plywood flooring, wall & ceiling panels & vinyl flooring-Fit sinks, taps, water heaters and worktops-PAT Testing-Cleaning of units and fittings internally and externally-Preparation for painting-Other repair, fit and modification work as requiredJob experience & skills requirements:-Good mix of general maintenance skills-Safely using hand & power tools-Basic understanding of Health & Safety rules-Knowledge of COSHH-Have a basic understanding of plumbing circuits/systems-Water pressure testing experience-Complete and Test water sterilisation-Ability to fit a variety of water heaters & hand dryers-Repair window roller shutters-Cutting window/door panels from blanksNice to have (but not essential):-Certificates in MPBA or ECA (NB. training will be provided where needed)The company offer a competitive salary of £21,736 pa plus pension, 25 days’ holiday (plus the option to purchase an additional 5 days’ holiday), gym membership discount, and access to hundreds of shopping discounts and vouchers.If you are an experienced Modular Cabin Fitter wanting to work in a fast-growing and UK market leading business, please apply we’d like to hear from you.
