Job Description

Translux International are looking to engage a driver with a Category C (Class 2) driving licence for their lighting and generator division. The role entails the presentation of our vehicles for annual tests and tachograph calibrations, as well as collections and deliveries of vehicles from our depot in Iver to and from local studios and filming location. Further maintenance training will be provided by our technicians.You need to be able to communicate well, speak good English, understand construction and use regulations and have the ability to work on your own initiative.Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Present vehicles for MOT inspections and tachograph calibrations.
  • Be able to repair minor faults, e.g., bulbs, wipers, fluids, etc.
  • Check in and outbound vehicles, complete records and quality control equipment.
  • Report defects/damage and shortfalls on all equipment prior to their release and on return.
  • Ensure road tanks and generator tanks are full on return and prior to departure.
  • Delivery and collection of equipment where required from studios and filming locations.
    • You will be required to work Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00 including a one-hour lunch break. The pay is £28840 per annum. Overtime is plus 20% and you will be entitled to 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) increasing by a day each year to a maximum of 25 days. You will be based in Iver, Buckinghamshire.
