An exciting small business within the Luxury Wholesaler world, are looking for a Sales Director/Head of Sales/Commercial Sales Manager. This is a new role that has been created due to growth and you will be managing a sales team, admin as well as bringingon new sales! £60k-£70k OTE £82K Location: Based in Slough - you will be required to be in the office 3 days a week and WFH 2 days a week. YOU MUST DRIVE TO GET TO THE OFFICES. You will be working for a Luxury Wholesaler selling into Retail. They have a small Sales team and work with some of the UKS largest Retailers. You will be managing a small Ops team and Admin.Have you sold into RETAIL This is a MUST! FMCGHave you managed a Sales TeamAre you a good commercial Salesperson to lead from the frontThis is a great role for someone to turn this new role into their own! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*Recruit, induct and develop new members to the existing team. *Build and manage commercial team (purchasing, sales and administration). *Day-to-day management of the existing team - motivate and develop them to achieve targets.*Accountability for ongoing staff appraisals, identifying performance issues and appropriate action.*Review and develop training plans and structures for new and existing staff. *Improve culture and ethos of commercial team to include stability and retention *Review and develop existing operational processes to improve performance and maximise growth.*Provide assistance, support and guidance on all commercial issues within the business and ensure that commercial staff attain their maximum potential. *Implement new strategies and processes to help improve sales and business efficiencies. *Work with commercial team to ensure sales and purchasing targets are met. *Work with Commercial Director to determine company goals and KPIs.*Assist Commercial Director and work as member of cohesive team.*Build strong internal relationships and effective communication channels with Operations and Finance teams. Commercial activities *Complete comprehensive weekly/monthly commercial reports to be sent to Directors. *Oversee and develop key client relationships in purchasing/sales. *Stay aware of latest market trends and developments. *Maximum profitability and growth of existing clients and new clients in line with business forecast. *Business development; continuously search and bring on new clients in purchasing/sales. *Create plans and ideas to promote business growth.
