* Electrical Maintenance Engineer* £36k Mon-Fri Days Only* Nr HeathrowWe are excited to be recruiting for an exciting clean-tech company that are developing chemical, high temperature recycling solutions. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team in the growing sustainability sector. This role would suit a self-starterwho wants to have a central role in shaping direction, culture, and growth.As Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will have responsibility for the operation and maintenance of a high temperature thermal conversion pilot plant.You will be expected to adhere to health and safety compliance, and to be responsible for maintaining the plant using initiative and maintenance schedules whilst writing test and maintenance reports. In addition, regular troubleshooting will be required toidentify and repair various aspects of the plant when there is a fault. You will have to immerse yourself in the process, fully grasp all aspects of how the pilot plant works, and own the practical operationYour day to day as Electrical Maintenance Engineer will involve: * Scheduling, planning and executing electrical / mechanical maintenance tasks.* Scheduling, planning and executing feedstock trials.* Monitoring and logging of data and communicating this with wider team.* Writing test reports and collecting basic data to an agreed template for each feedstock trial.* Responsible for operation and maintenance of thermal conversion pilot plant and wider facility, with a focus on electrical.* Process, production and R&D engineers to deliver necessary adjustments and repairs to the pilot plant. Make regular checks of plant equipment and make adjustments, repairs, and service equipment as required.We want to hear from you if you have any of the following skills: * Electrical engineering skill base but with a grasp on mechanical and process engineering and ability to oversee external contractors to do this work.* Excellent HSE knowledge.* An experienced (preferably 4+ years) Engineer / Technician with prior on-site knowledge ideally having completed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship / Training.* A relevant technical qualification such as an HNC/NVQ/C&G or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering and/or electrical installation.* Up to date with the latest IEE Regulations.* Previous experience with single and 3 phase installations, and PLC.
