Chemical Engineer£45,000 - £50,000London/Buckinghamshire (1-2 days) & Remote working availableRecycling/RenewablesThis is an exciting opportunity to join a clean technology company focussed on the chemical recycling of mixed plastic waste. My client is helping to build the circular economy for plastics by sustainably and economically diverting plastic waste from landfilland incineration. The technology converts non-recyclable plastic waste into valuable petrochemical resources to produce new plastic products.My client is about to finalise development of, and build, their first commercial-scale plant that will process 27,000 tonnes of plastic waste per annum, located in the Netherlands.You will be working to help in the delivery the clients first commercial chemical recycling plant to the market in the Netherlands. The role will require regular travel between the UK and the Netherlands.The Chemical Engineer role is focused around the R&D plant, working to further the research and process engineering functions across the site and to deliver meaningful insights into the process, technology and products. The role will be based in the UK, primarilyworking between home, London and the R&D site in Buckinghamshire.The Chemical Engineer will be required to do the following;
