Burgess Farms (Produce World Group Ltd) has an exciting opportunity for a L&D Advisor to join the team based in Isleham on a Fixed-Term Contract basis for up to 12-months, in return for a competitive salary.Working Hours for this L&D Advisor role are Monday – Friday (08:00 – 17:00) - but we would also take a flexible approach to hoursBurgess Farms (Produce World Group Ltd) is a privately-owned business which is customer and category focused. As one of the largest expert growers of high-quality fresh vegetables in Europe, we are industry leading in sustainable and responsible agronomy, growing, and lean supply chain management.Key Responsibilities as our L&D Advisor:- Developing and implementing best in class learning strategies, programs and platforms, specifically within operational areas- Working with departmental managers to advance shop floor skills and knowledge- Maintaining budgets and relationships with key stakeholders- Delivery of departments KPI’s and own PDR objectives, whilst ensuring audit ready at all times- Liaising with external providersWhat we’re looking for in our L&D Advisor:- Professional certification (e.g. L&D, CIPD) is a plus- Proven L&D expertise- Current knowledge of effective L&D methods and practices- Excellent systems knowledge- Excellent communication and skills; sharp business acumen- Ability to build rapport with employees and external providers- Food Industry experience is desirable - Ability to communicate in English as the main language on site – speaking, listening and writing; but Eastern European language skills would also be an advantage
