Burgess Farm Produce (Isleham Site) part of the Produce World Group has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Operator to join the team based in Cambridgeshire paying a competitive rate of £10 per hour.Working pattern for this role is: two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, two days on, three days off. Burgess Farms (Produce World Group) is a privately owned business which is customer and category focused. As one of the largest expert growers of high quality fresh vegetables in Europe, we are industry leading in sustainable and responsible agronomy, growing, and lean supply chain management.Key responsibilities of the role:- Monitor the upkeep of the machinery and ensure that it operates to its fullest potential- Monitor the quality of the raw material and finished product on line- Ensure that quality standards within the factory are maintained- Accurately complete all relevant documentation and record required data in our Navision operating systems- Minimise downtime on the line, ensuring all machines are running at the correct speeds as defined by machine speed criteria and set targets- To be responsible for personal Health and Safety and the Health and Safety of other workers.What we’re looking for in our Technical Operator:- To operate the process in accordance with standard operating procedures and the Shift Leader’s instructions- Able to manage the line on a day to day basis and achieve daily performance measures such as OEE and Labour Productivity- The ability to work with the team, Quality Auditor and Shift leader to meet strict quality standards- The drive to instill quality consciousness into the team by educating staff about acceptable standards- Good written and spoken English language skillsIf you feel that you are the right candidate for the role as our Technical Operator then please apply.
