Burgess Farm Produce (Isleham Site) part of the Produce World Group has an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Driver to join the team based in Cambridgeshire. You will join us on a full time, temporary basis and in return, you will receive a competitive rate of £9.60 / hour. Shift pattern: Panama Shift, 80 hours per fortnight.Burgess Farms (Produce World Group) is a privately owned business which is customer and category focused. As one of the largest expert growers of high quality fresh vegetables in Europe, we are industry leading in sustainable and responsible agronomy, growing, and lean supply chain management.Key responsibilities as a Forklift Driver:v To ensure all raw materials are correctly weighed and labelled and deposited into the correct cold storev To perform tasks within the process in accordance with standard operating procedures and Health and Safety requirementsv To efficiently stack and store the raw material/ finish goods in the appropriate areas, move product to storage location, ensure the product count is accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.v Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashionv Complete daily inspections prior to use on the forklift reporting any damageWhat we’re looking for in our Forklift Driver:v Must hold a current, valid counterbalance FLT licensev Strong attention to detailv Good communication skills v Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload working in a fast moving environmentv Self-motivated and confident v Able to pick up a good understanding of our products and quality standards v Ability to actively employ the ‘Company Values’ and company policies and procedure in all areas of work
