Job Description

Regulatory Compliance OfficerGreater Manchester£40,000 - £50,000Search Scientific are working with a well established manufacturer of Speciality Chemicals who have seen continued success & expansion throughout recent years. Based in greater Manchester, they have heavily invested in their site and greatly increased their ability to develop & manufacture specialty chemical products. As part of this recent growth, they are seeking to hire a Regulatory & compliance officer. The role:Working alongside an experienced technical team, this position will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing compliance of all chemical products by:

  • Creating and managing MSDS for chemical products.
  • Creating CLP labels
  • Providing regulatory support to the technical & commercial teams
  • Work with clients to understand their regulatory / labelling needs and ensure product compliance.
  • Assist with the registration of products under UK or EU REACH.
    • Working Hours
  • 40 hours per week Monday - Friday
  • Flexible start / finish times.
    • Requirements
  • A degree in Chemistry or a similar, relevant field.
  • Proven experience within chemical regulatory compliance
  • A good understanding of MSDS, CLP, REACH
  • Knowledge of ECOCERT, RSPO, or Nordic Swan registration would be advantageous.
