Job Description

We are looking for a Packaging & Artwork Approval Manager to join rapidly expanding business who supply wines & spirits to the UK retail trade.OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Rapidly expanding business
  • 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

OUR CLIENT is the leading UK independent bottler of wines and spirits, specialising in producing quality own-label wines to the UK Multiple and Convenience Retail Sectors. They believe that the success of their business is dependent upon the skills, attitudes,flexibility and commitment of their employees, so they look to recruit high quality people to work effectively in a strong team-working climate which is innovating and encourages high levels of achievement.The Packaging & Artwork Approval Manager role will include:
  • Reporting to the Technical Manager
  • Manage one Packaging Technologist
  • Manage projects
  • Drive continuous improvement in packaging at Kingsland Drinks
  • Reduce the number of packaging non-conformances by proactively working with suppliers on improvements
  • Create packaging supplier quality agreements / KPIs
  • Schedule and chair quality review meetings with suppliers
  • Represent packaging function in the NPD meetings
  • Work on packaging NPD and qualification
  • Ensure supplier approval process is fully adhered to
  • Audit packaging suppliers
  • Member of the HACCP team
