Job Description

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator. You will be responsible for the processing of incoming sales orders via phone, fax and EDI. You will work as part of a team to Identify shortages and communicating with the warehouse and demand managementdepartments to minimise the impact on the customer.Key responsibilities as our Customer Service Administrator will include:

  • Processing customer orders in accordance with operating procedures
  • Providing first line support for customer queries
  • Providing assistance with ad hoc reports/special projects
  • Arranging transport & booking slots for groupage & full trailer loads
  • Liaising with Finance section for new accounts/credit limit issues
  • Liaising with Bond Section for any EMCS (under-bond & export) transactions
  • Informing Customers of any problems with OOS, late delivery issues
  • Updating Account Managers with any quality/stock/production issues
  • Co-ordinating dual supply orders, surcharges etc
  • Co-ordinating with Warehouse & Customers for any trailer fill requirements
  • Arranging uplifts for damaged/incorrect products
Skills required as our Customer Service Administrator:
  • Good general level of education to G.C.S.E level or equivalent as a minimum
  • Strong customer service ethic and a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar customer facing role
  • Good people and process management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and polite telephone manner
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills
  • SAP experience would be a particular benefit
  • Good level of general administration experience
