Job Description

Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a TrustPilot score of 4.8/5 and over 600+ reviews have an exciting Locum opportunity available for an experienced Supply Teacher based in Ipswich and surrounding areas.Pay Rate: £130 - £150 per day (assignment rate) dependent on experience and qualificationsContract: Locum, 3-MonthsWorking Hours: Full-time,Hours: 08:30 am – 15:30 pm (may vary depending on assignment)Late Notice Cover: Availability for short-notice assignments is essential.Benefits of working for Sanctuary Personnel:

Main Duties of the Supply Teacher:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons that align with curriculum requirements and captivate students interest.
  • Adapt teaching methods to cater to various learning styles and abilities present within the classroom.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and collaboration.
  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, including attendance recording and lesson planning, to maintain consistency and organisation in the educational process.
Requirements of the Supply Teacher:
  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a classroom setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Completion of an Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
