With ambitious growth plans over the next five years, theres never been a more excitingtime to join.Opportunity Awaits: As a Quantity Surveyor, youll play a pivotal role in their Commercial department, contributing to the success of multiple projects. Collaborating closely with the project team, youll ensure commercial procedures are meticulously followedto maximize project profitability.Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement: Maximise buying opportunities and achieve best value through meticulous subcontract procurement.
  • Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for best value throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with the project design and technical team.
  • Subcontract Management: Oversee subcontract account management, including valuations and final account statements.
  • Risk Management: Regularly assess project risks and opportunities to mitigate potential impacts on project costs.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate Cost Value Reconciliation reports and quarterly cashflow forecasts.
Skills & Attributes:
  • Proven track record in managing mixed tenure housing development projects.
  • Proficient in IT tools like Coins and MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Methodical and organised approach to workload prioritization.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
  • Familiarity with standard forms of contract such as JCT and affordable housing agreements.
  • Passion for innovation in construction technologies and project risk management.
  • Commitment to upholding company values and vision.
