Job Description

IT/Software Support - Ipswich - Hybrid - £30,000-£32,000 Cloudscope are working with a data intelligence/software solutions business near Ipswich, seeking a new hire for an IT/Software Support technician. You will be a proactive and tech savvy individual with experience in a previous customer support role, ideallyin the IT or Software support space. Our client offers an excellent work environment and a close-knit team based on the outskirts of Ipswich. This role involves a shift pattern that does not include weekends, rotating weekly with another member of the team.This will involve hybrid working too, working at home on Friday!The Role:

  • Be the central point of contact for all customers regarding issue’s related to our products
  • Assist service users, whilst logging all contact and providing 1st and 2nd line support in answering their question
  • Contribute to an exceptional service response satisfaction rate
  • Understand and provide an in-depth knowledge of the company’s products, ensuring great customer service is always provided. (Full product training provided with continuous development)
  • Ensure that all tickets are resolved in a timely manner and escalating where appropriate.
The Candidate
  • Previous experience in a customer or IT support role is essential.
  • Can do attitude.
  • Must be a collaborative team member with excellent communication skills.
  • Dealing with solutions with a calm demeanour and know when you need to escalate tickets
  • You must have great attention to detail.
  • Be methodical and self-motivated.
  • Eager to take on new challenges as they arise.
  • Computer literate.
  • Well-organised.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Power-Shell and 365 Admin is an advantage.
This role will suit a technically minded individual that is happy to be client facing, likes building rapport and is proactive in their work. You will put time into understand our client’s product knowledge and will be happy working in office, from homeand mildly out of hours shift patterns.Required skills
