Job Description

• Contract Duration: 6 weeks (Temporary)• Location: Ipswich• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM• Salary: £10.42+ depending upon experienceWe are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our clients team on a temporary basis for 6 weeks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel. As the office locationrequires driving to access, candidates will need their own transport; however, we provide free onsite parking.Day to day of the role:• Answering incoming calls and responding to customer queries in a timely and efficient manner.• Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.• Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints, ensuring all relevant information is logged.• Inputting information and data on to their internal system.• Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.Required Skills & Qualifications:• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.• Excellent communication and presentation skills.• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.• Comfortable using computers with experience in Excel.• Must have a driving license and means of transportation due to the office location.Benefits:• Free onsite parking.• Gain valuable experience in a customer-focused role.• Work in a friendly and supportive environment.• Competitive salary for a temporary position.To apply for this Customer Service Assistant role, please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are interested in this position.
