Year 1 SENDTeaching AssistantWe are recruiting for a Year 1 SENDTeaching Assistant for a Primary School in Ince, Wigan (WN2) to support a child on a one to one basis. This is a long-term position starting as soon as possible.Could this be the role for youJoin our mission to Make Life Kind in the classroom and beyond…This SENDTeaching Assistant job will involve providing 1:1 support to a Year 1 child who requires assistance in overcoming barriers to learning in order to achieve their true potential. This SENDTeaching Assistant role will involve keeping the child on task and ensuring that the work they are set is being done to a good standard.This SENDTeaching Assistant job is full-time and the working hours will be 08:30am- 15:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break. Encourage the child to overcome learning barriers
Work closely with the child to they are achieving their full potential
To be Inspirational and highly effective in the classroom
To be Passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential

Non-negotiables:

Have either a relevant childcare qualification Level 2 or Level 3 or above
Recent experience supporting children in either an education, social care, nursery, community/youth role, college/university placement or any volunteer roles.
Be able to display excellent verbal communication as well as the ability to actively listen.
Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
