Job Description

Yolk are working exclusively with a company who have developed a direct to consumer crowdfunding platform offering the opportunity to purchase shares in up coming start up & scale up companies across Europe. Looking to double the size of the tech teamover the next 12 months, they have ambitious and incredibly exciting plans. They are genuinely a fully flexible company, they dont even have core hoursyoure trusted to manage your own workload.As a PHP Engineer, this is what youll be doingYou will be brought in to help continue to scale and grow the business, you will be expected to influence decisions within the tech team, a key part in conversations about the evolution of the platform. Youll join a fully agile team where collaboration issuper important, joining one of the most experienced tech teams in South Wales who want to build things simply and quickly, advocates of using the right tools for the right job!As a PHP Engineer, the experience youll need to bring to the team

  • Extensive experience with PHP, Laravel/Symfony
  • Knowledge of API design, REST and OAuth2
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript would be ideal
  • Keen eye for testing, performance and clean code
  • Ability to write clean, robust and efficient code
