INTRODUCTIONOSR is currently recruiting on behalf of a successful healthcare communications agency based just outside Cambridge. My client is for looking for a Senior Medical Writer to join their team.THE COMPANY This company is a multi-award-winning agency who are expanding at the moment to fill the growing need for medical editorial material. Content varies from informative literature for patients with life changing conditions to communications towards doctors understanding diseases, treatments and processes. You will need to be confident adapting your approach to fit the audience and sensitive in you tone whilst maintaining the highest scientific accuracy.THE ROLEAs the Senior Medical Writer, you will be supported by the Scientific Team Leader. You will be working with a varied range of clients to tight deadlines for specific briefs and audiences.DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

Research and write scientific copy to impeccable standards.

Adapt voice and approach to meet brief/audience.

Continuous research in to market, demographic and industry news.

Present work and maintain active communication with clients and colleagues.

Support creative teams with scientific guidance and direction.

Adhere to strict GDPR and understanding of ABPI.

Confident with CMS tools e.g. Zinc or Veeva Vault.

Clients presentations and meetings.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

University educated in a biomedical science.

At least 2 years experience medical writing.

Experience conducting effective research for copy.

Proofreading and editing.

Completing work to high standard within deadlines.

Teamwork and communication.

Client management.
